Project
A full-stack stock, sales and compliance system built for a working manufacturing and distribution business. It replaced a patchwork of spreadsheets with one system covering the whole order lifecycle — from quote to shipment.
Around 100 screens covering:
Express backend on Node.js against a MySQL database (121 tables), with a server-rendered/vanilla-JS frontend — no framework build step, deliberately kept simple to run and deploy. Every write action is attributed to the signed-in user for an audit trail. A handful of pages (compliance certificates, packing labels, CIPL exports) render data straight into PDFs.
The production system runs on a small on-prem server reachable only through a Cloudflare Tunnel — no inbound ports open to the internet. This demo runs on a separate, isolated server with the same application code against an empty schema filled entirely with fictional data — no real customers, orders, or business data are used anywhere in the demo.
No sign-in needed — the demo opens on a role picker, and each option drops you straight into that part of the system with only its pages available:
The demo resets to clean fictional data every hour, so feel free to change things.
